Guided live by your Virtual Guru, parents guide the child’s finger to trace sacred mantras (Hari Sri Ganapataye Namaha / Om) in raw rice and on a slate, invoking divine blessings for lifelong academic success and intellectual brilliance.

- Name of the Offering: Ksheerannam (క్షీరాన్నం) / Sweet Milk Rice Payasam.
- Spiritual Significance: Prepared with pure cow’s milk, raw rice, ghee, and jaggery or sugar, Ksheerannam symbolizes the purity of mind and sweet flow of divine knowledge. Offering this white, sweet dish to Goddess Saraswathi invoke her divine blessings for the child’s academic journey.
- The “Vedic Ratio”: To prepare delicate and digestible Ksheerannam, the ideal ratio of whole milk to raw rice is exactly $4:1$, simmered gently with organic sugar or jaggery.
4. The Ritual Timeline (The Unique Steps)
Your Remote Pandit will guide you virtually through each phase of this transformative milestone, ensuring proper pronunciation of Sanskrit mantras and authentic Vedic procedures.
- Preparation (10 mins): Set up your altar facing East. Spread the Biyyam (బియ్యం) neatly across a brass or stainless steel tray. Place the Blouse Piece (బ్లౌస్ పీస్) and deity photo on the wooden platform. Keep the Slate Pencil & Slate (Slate పెన్సిల్ & slate) clean and ready near the altar. Dress the child in traditional auspicious clothing.
- Sankalpam (5 mins): Parents hold Tamalapakulu (తమలపాకులు), Vakkalu (వక్కలు), and Chillara Paisalu (చిల్లర పైసలు) while holding the child. Under your Virtual Guru’s guidance, recite the child’s name, Gotra, and astrological star, expressing your solemn intent to seek divine wisdom and success in education.
